About hc-26
Summary
This data set consists of recordings collected in the lab of Yadong Huang at UCSF and the Gladstone Institutes. The experiment consisted of two cohorts of female apoE3-KI and apoE4-KI mice: one screen cohort which had electrophysiological recordings at 12–18 months and Morris Water Maze (MWM) at 13–19 months and one replication cohort which had electrophysiological recordings at 5–8 months, 9–11 months, and 13–17 months, MWM at 5-8 months, open field, elevated plus maze, and MWM at 14–18 months, and Active Place Avoidance (APA) and hot plate at 15–20 months. A Neuronexus A4x8-400-200-704-CM32 silicon electrode probe was chronically implanted in the right dorsal hippocampus with 32 sites spanning all cellular and subcellular layers of CA1, CA3, and DG. Recordings were taken using a Spike Gadgets system while the animal was freely moving in its home cage (mostly sleep and awake rest) over 5 60 minute sessions unrelated to task performance. Included data are preprocessed to reduce file size. Data include 0-300Hz LFP filtered data downsampled to 1kHz, behavioral results, mouse position tracking, and metadata for each mouse, probe, and recording epoch. Analysis code is deposited at https://github.com/emilyasterjones/SWR-predictions. Results from this experiment are described in:
Format of the data
The data is stored in matlab files. Details are about the data format is given in the document linked to at the bottom of this page. Total data size is about 100 GB.
Conditions for usage of this data in publications
These data required years of effort to collect, and so work published using this data should list Emily Jones and Yadong Huang as authors. Please contact Yadong Huang ([email protected]) if you would like to discuss this. Any publications made using the data should cite the publication above (Jones et al, 2019) and cite the data set using the following:
