About hc-13
Summary.
The CRCNS.org hc-13 data set contains recordings from hippocampus regions CA1 and dorsal medial prefrontal cortex (PFC) from rats performing a foraging task. The data was used to determine relationships between activity in hippocampus and PFC neurons and learning and decision making. The main behavior performed by the animal during the experiments was an alternate choice task in a foraging context. The data was used to produce results described in the following paper:
Format of the data
The data are stored in Matlab files, with different files used for the different types of data. Details are given in the data description document listed at the bottom of this page. Total data size is about 8 GB compressed.
