About hc-29

Information about the hc-29 data set.

Summary

This data set contains multiunit tetrode recordings from hippocampus and lateral septum of rat, with 16 tetrodes in each area. Animals were run on a double-sided T maze (a working memory spatial task) as described in the upcoming manuscript. Uploaded data is sorted spikes from both regions in MatLab format. Results from the experiment are forthcoming in

"Differences in reward biased spatial representations in the lateral septum and hippocampus" Wirtshafter, H.S. and Wilson, M.A. 2020

All scripts use to run the data were written in MatLab can be accessed at https://github.com/hsw28/data_analysis.

Format of the data

The data is stored in matlab files. Details are about the data format is given in the document linked to at the bottom of this page. Total data size is about 2.3 GB.
